What size skip do I need?
Our handy size guide above shows our average skip dimensions as well as their common usage. We stock all skip sizes from 2yd to 20yd. Skips larger than 8yds should not contain heavy materials and also all skips must be loaded level with the top of the skip for safe transportation of your refuse.

Placement of skip/Permits
Generally skips are to be placed on your land (private property) and this will usually be your driveway. At times however we are aware that this is not possible and the skip needs to be left on the public highway. In this instance a PERMIT is applicable and incurs an additional fee as set by the council in your area. We arrange permits so you need to do nothing extra.

How quickly can I get my skip & How long is the hire?
If you order your skip before 12.30 then we GUARANTEE SAME DAY DELIVERY. We deliver skips on a date and time slot convenient to you. Normal hire terms are 7 days but this can be extended upon request by contacting us before the 7 days expire.

When/How do I pay?
We do not require payment before delivery. You may pay cash or cheque to the driver on delivery of your skip or you can pay over the phone with a major debit or credit card. Accounts are availble for traders/businesses by clicking the accounts link at the top of this page.

Will your skip/lorry damage my driveway?
Every effort is made to ensure no damage however skips are heavy items and are designed to carry heavy loads. This means that soft driveways may be damaged by the weight of the skip. Our lorries should not cause damage however as we use load spreaders under the lorries legs when lifting from soft areas. Delivery and collection of a skip is done so at your own risk.

What is hazardous material?
Hazardous material is anything which may cause harm to our workers and/or the environment. The Environment Agency determines wastes that are hazardous and that require specialist or separate treatment. An example of a waste product that needs to be kept in a separate skip from all other rubbish is Plasterboard. Plasterboard must be disposed of separately from other waste and so we collect this on its own and take plasterboard to a recycling facility. Please see our SUPPLEMENT for more details on Hazardous Waste.
